We held a full-day blood donation campaign on 29 November 2018 at the event hall of 11street office in Kuala Lumpur, which drew overwhelming response from both our own staff and other office workers at the building. We successfully collected 69 packs of blood within five hours before halting the registration earlier than expected because we ran out of blood bags. We are thrilled with the warm response and will take heed of the suggestion to bring in more blood bags and laying chairs for the next campaign since the event hall has sufficient capacity to accommodate a bigger crowd. While there were more than 100 keen donors on the day, unfortunately some had to be turned away because they didn’t meet the requirements of the hospital.
